Today's Ways to Use it Challenge is to create a card that features something out of the past (your choice of how far back you want to go âe" we're celebrating Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day.) I have this set of images from STAMPlorations that look like ladies from sometime mid-century, maybe the 30s to the 50s, so that's the period I'm featuring here. I watercolored the image and matted it on blue. I chose the background paper because it kind of has a mid-century vibe as well. Somebody sent me that sentiment ages ago, and it had the snarky feel I wanted, so I matted it on green cardstock. The top right corner of the image needed an embellishment; I found a copper wire coil in my bag of random items, and again it just sort of looked like it could work for the time period.
