I made my bag-a-lope from 12 x 12 DSP, scored at 1.5 inches from each edge, all four sides. Follow same directions as for bag-a-lope tutorial, except that you are working with a different size, and your two pieces of paper are not adhered together until you adhere them together. I folded down the top fold to allow for a decorative edge using the inside design. I chose to punch holes and use a coordinating ribbon much like you would find on a purchased gift bag. I specifically selected this quilt-themed paper to coordinate with the gift inside for my quilting friend. This challenge was perfect timing!
