I've done something using the same die and sentiment for a neighbour a couple of years ago after his wife died. For this, I was thinking originally of a starry dark night sky, but after reverse masking the frame and foreground and sponging in the colours, I decided not to darken them, but go for a dawn glow. There's some Stickles smeared over the snowy foreground. Village cut from white, with pale yellow to back the houses and a scrap of cling wrap Brusho background behind the trees. I saved the door and popped it back in over the yellow layer. Finished it off with a glitter star.
Will try to take a better photo before I mail it tomorrow. Home late from work today and the light wasn't great.

Not sure which I love more -- the sweet village or that gorgeous sky. Well, the sky probably but that village is very sweet indeed. Love the yellow shining through the windows and the pop of red on that single door is exquisite. And this little town must feel blessed indeed to have that glorious star overhead. This is superb, Sabrina. Walt will adore it.
