Today's challenge is to depict Peace. This wonderful stamp is pure Peace to me. My Soft Suede stamp pad is in need of re-inking, but I like how it turned out for this card. Added the word and ran through a snow EF. These woods belong to the animals who live there, no matter what a property deed might say. Our cards go out to Walt to let him know he is in our thoughts.

Gorgeous scene, Faith. I love that you used just the one color and the soft suede is perfect as it is both masculine and peaceful. Love how the embossing feels like it is snowing. Great design. Walt is sure to feel some peace as he views this.
I so agree with your write up and sentiment that the woods do truly belong to all the animals that live there. I wish I could live more in harmony with nature. Right now I am fighting ant invasions and I just can't stomach sharing the inside of the home with them. If I am being tested, I am failing miserably. I do wish they would stay outside in the woods. LOL.

Pure peace indeed. Great stamp.
Although, it reminds me of one of the very few times I have heard the herd of deer in our park making noise, and that was one day when I had to walk home from work because it was snowing so much that the buses weren't running. I think the deer were very distressed by it, and the noise they were making was almost like seagulls, and definitely not peaceful!!
