Karen is hosting this week with the seasonal but versatile combination of Poppy Parade, Real Red, Old Olive with a 4th color for dessert.
This is kind of a quickie that I did while testing out some new goodies with a friend/team member was here for a little playing/planning. This set is a 2 step set with an outline and lovely variation in the second step. It looked like it was watercolored but is so easy. After stamping with Old Olive and Poppy Parade, I ran it through my default embossing folder - Timeworn Type. I added a hint of my dessert, Balmy Blue with just the ink left on my blending brush. I brought the Real Red in with a corner border of DSP.
Thanks for looking and have fun with this one!

Beautiful card, Chris. Loved seeing a new goodie in play. The embossing is fabulous. I like the layout with the two edges of DSP. So pretty in the challenge colors. Very nicely done!

Lovely combination of textures and colors. Beautiful coloring, and I especially like the layout, with just a hint of the DS paper peeking out from the side and bottom of the main design panel.
