Another dps from our trip to Bermuda. I wanted to use my DCWV paper that look a little like water, so I layered some brilliant blue and white to look like waves. Then my kids suggested to put some squigglies to look like the turtle grass. I guess maybe I should listen to them more often. I am happy with the way it came out and now I have to wait to order the new silly sealife stamps to use the turtle.
My journaling reads:
Today our excursion is Turtle Bay Catamaran beach trip. We were introduced to at least five turtles that swim in Turtle Bay. Rico, Maria, Snorkel, Diego and I forgot the last one. We dropped anchor in about 20 feet of water and the back of the catamaran was in about 6 feet of water. So you had to swim to shore or take the raft. Steve pushed the kids on the raft. I opted to snorkel to shore. This area of the island does not have any coral to snorkel over. However, if you snorkel over the turtle grass you actually may catch a glimpse of one of the turtles eating. The sand was soft and refined. I think it is the softest sand my toes have ever touched. The water is so clear and the colors are just breath taking.
On the right hand page the bottom photo - there is a turtle within the vellum circle, but you can not see it very well. Everyone was so excited to see these guys swimming by.
