I have done 3 of these cards, including this blue one for the IC today. My inspiration came from this scene. For the trees I used different colours of cardstock and different colours of hot foil. The backgrounds are done using the Smooshing technique and Gansai Pearl watercolours. Added gems to the cards, along with sentiments on a couple. The other two cards can be viewed on my blog.

Such a stunner! Reminds me of our beautiful blue spruce in the yard we decorated every year until none of us could reach it, even with a ladder. It was over 65 feet tall when it had to be cut down. We still miss it!
