For Lisa's challenge: WT925 - Origami - December 1, 2022 by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers
I love origami, we have a large collection of books and paper. But I also have three different stamps/sets featuring it, and some origami style dies, so I was spoiled for choice. In the end I went for a stamp and some real origami combined...
My stamp is Shimo-San from Sister Stamps. It's stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils. The card base was stencilled using two shades of blue distress inks and a dusky purple. The die-cut sentiment is Paper Smooches, I think. I used a 1¼" square of paper to fold a samurai helmet matching the one the little boy is placing on the snowman, and in the end I decided to put it on the boy himself. I'll attach a photo without the helmet in the challenge thread. Using it like this reminded me of the first origami book I can remember from early childhood, which featured actual folded animals, insects and birds stuck into printed backgrounds. My father was very patient; I don't remember him ever complaining when we unfolded them and then couldn't fold them back correctly - he must always have done it himself because the next time he would give us the book to look at, they were all as they should be.

This is just too cute! I love the image you used and how he is putting that hat on the snowman and you added an origami one to the image. This is brilliant and adorable!
