Using a stencil mask, I sponged a light yellow decorative pattern around the edges, going lighter and lighter to the center area. The panel was die-cut with deckle edges. The sentiment, flowers and stems were stamped and die-cut. The sending word and shadow are die-cut & layered. I popped up the flowers. Finishing touches: a matte dot and Wink of Stella on the flower centers. I will send my card to Carlene with some of my favorite corny jokes. Hopefully they will give her a few smiles from across the miles. TFL

Fabulous. I love the pattern on your stenciled piece and it really accents those flowers beautifully. Blue & yellow is always a winning combination and looks fresh and happy. Sure to make Carlene smile and the jokes will just add to the mirth. Great card.

Beautiful! Awesome stenciling, the color combo, and the stamped/die-cut flowers are fabulous. The bold headline with the banner below is perfect.

this came out great ! Love the bright blue color.. and the yellow background is perfect for this card. You did a really good job on the stencil - and the mat layers really take this card to the next level !
