I cut my strips free hand. I am a chemo angel to a girl who's favorite colors are pink and purple. I send her 2 cards a week and I am working on my winter cards for her now. This stamp has a little Christmas tree in the lower right corner but I didn't stamp that part so I could use it during the winter and not just during the holidays. I'm not sure I agree with this sentiment because we do get snow in NC but I am happy when it melts! LOL

My idea of a 'snow day' is when the kids got off school!! They always thought they were the best days! Darling image and love your stripes. Great colors.

I know what you mean about snow..LOL..but the sentiment works perfectly with this sweet image. Pooh is the best and I bet he will be loved by recipient too. Love the striped bg and especially as it's her fav colors. How sweet to be a chemo angel and sending so many cards of encouragement -- you rock and so does your card.

Pooh! and I knew instantly which card you were casing because the technique caught my attention as well. Both color combinations are fabulous and your little friend is going to smile. Blessings to you & yours.

Hi Sherri, I am so honored that you were inspired by one of my cards! I think your strips came out great - I love how you added in thin slivers of black, which ties in perfectly with the black mat behind the focal panel and the black top hat and sentiment. Purple and pink together make me think of winter, and you used them together to create the sweetest winter scene. Your role as a chemo angel is such a special way to use your card making skills to brighten someone else's day and touch their life in some small way. That is truly inspiring! HUGS, Mer
Sherri, this is a great case of Mer's card. How wonderful it is that you are a Chemo Angel. I know you are lifting the spirits of the girl who receives your wonderful cards. I love the pink and purple stripes in the background.
