I modified Allison's lovely sketch by putting the horizontal element under the circle instead of over it. This old wooden cardinal stamp is a favourite of mine. It was inked up with Archival ink and stamped on WC paper. I coloured it with Tombow water based markers. The sentiment was stamped with Archival ink in Fern Green.

I recognized that stamp, cause I bought it too at Michaels, lol. You have colored it beautifully and I love that cool Christmas dp over the stripe background. Your image looks great in the round!!

This is a lovely card. I also have that same wood mounted stamp; probably over 20 years ago that I bought it! Your two background panels are both perfect with the cardinal and coordinate so well together.

I have that stamp and still like it better than other cardinal ones that are newer. I love the way it jumps forward from the great papers, especially the stripes.
