Ugh! Our fellow SCS stamper Carlene, aka Chatterbox-1, and (in my humble opinion) the Challenge Queen of this site is laid up with some health issues and can't stamp right now. So the Tea Party is showering her with cards and good wishes and our hostess has asked us to use a stencil.
I wanted to send a "happy" card and to me that means sunny colors, a cute critter, and this large scallop frame. And I think I achieved that with these roses stenciled in shades of yellow and then glimmer paste as well as that cute PB kitten which was fussy cut and pasted down as was the velum die cut hugs. The scallop is layered four deep and I stamped some leaves around the edges of the base to add some dimension. The sentiment is computer generated using Verdana font.
I have no doubt that Carlene will enjoy and appreciate all the beautiful cards from this amazing group. And, I am equally sure they will both cheer and help her heal with all the positive energy and good wishes flying her way. Hope your day is filled with sunny colors and special hugs too. TFL.

Debbie, you achieved your goal with flying colors!! The stenciled roses are absolutely beautiful, and the glimmer paste makes them look fresh with dew! The kitty bringing a bouquet is a wonderful choice, and I adore the vellum sentiment! If this doesn't make Carlene feel better, nothing will! Well done!!!

Oh, Debbie, this is just so adorable and happy all around. Your rose stencil is gorgeous on that scalloped panel. And of course that dear little kitty cat. Love your bright and sunny colors for Carlene!

Gorgeous and precious! The stenciling with the glimmer paste is fantastic. You're so creative. The "thick" scallop is clever, the coloring, and fussy cutting are fabulous as well as the perfect vellum headline...
