For the Color Challenge today, I took my cardinal die and turned it into a blue jay as best as I could. I made a distress oxide background and placed my bird on a stamped branch. Nuvo Drops were added to the Balmy Blue cardstock.

The blue jay is wonderful, Jane. My DH's name is Jay, so I always make blue jay cards for him. He feeds them peanuts in the shell, and loves to see them shake the peanut to see if it's full. They are clever and so funny.

Wonderful die cut bluejay, Jane. Great work in making a cardinal into a bluejay. He looks so regal on your card.....and a beautiful bg that you created too.
