My card is for the CAS challenge this week and the Fan Club Christmas Challenge.
I love this stamp because I love old churches. This stamp was inspired by an actual little church in Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. I think it was St. Paul's Church and it was built in the 1880's. I searched it and it was a rock church. Maybe I'll do a rock church later.
I colored the image with Copics and then did a wash on the background for sky and then brushed on some watercolor for the snow.
I thought I found the perfect sentiment for my card.

We went to a friend's wedding in this church on Salt Spring, many years ago. At least I am guessing it was the church. I cannot remember the name of the church but your card is just so lovely, Brenda! You did find the perfect sentiment too. Vertical sentiments are hard to find. The way you have added the watercolored gray looks wonderful!

Memories of the church I grew up in with it's spire reaching high into the heavens (ours was / is red brick). The elongated sentiment works well as a counterbalance to the church.
