I found some red yarn that's been in a drawer for YEARS! It was just what I needed for today's letter Y. I knew I had a yarn type ef & was pretty sure I had mitten dies. I think this middle die is still a little big, but the smaller one was too little. DH thought these looked too big. I made them RED, of course. Remember when we were kids (& had them for our kids) the long ribbon that went around your neck & attached to the mitterns so you wouldn't lose them? That memory is where this idea came from. I stamped the sentiment & trimmed with pinking shears - my mom probably rolled over in her heavenly home when I did that!! They were fabric only when I was a kid! Popped up the sentiment too. Easy-peasy card today.

I think your mittens are just the right size. Perfect embossing folder for this challenge. Ah yes, I remember mom being very strict not only about her pinking shears but also her sewing scissors!
