This is my entry for last week's Alphabet Challenge letter X for X-acto knife and also for last week's card sketch.
First, I used the stitched stripe card front die to add texture to the background panel. I flipped it and ran it through the opposite way to get the stripes going both directions. Next, the tedious part of cutting slits in the background so I could "thread" white glitter strips through the background adding texture and sparkle.
The rest of the card was quick and easy because I had the poinsettia and foliage in my leftovers container. I don't remember what ink colors I used to create them. I followed the card sketch for my placement. The sentiment is popped up with foam squares. I completed the card with a scattering of sequins.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Beautiful BG Catherine and I can imagine that it took a while to cut and thread. Gorgeous card. Happy day
