Jessica, I had such a nostalgic feeling looking at the older cards in your gallery. So many fun but retired stamp sets by SU!, House Mouse, and Bellas.
This Furry Birthday card reminded me to make one in memory of my cat, Sushi. She's my avatar and passed away last Monday, breaking my heart. I was holding her in my arms. The photo is about a year old. She was checking my email for me! Her fur looks a little dark because she was an older Siamese. Pets are so wonderful. Sigh.

What a beautiful card and photo of Sushi! So sorry for your loss… we lost one of our pets 6 months ago and it still hurts. Saying goodbye to one never gets easier. Hugs.
Pauline, It makes me so sad to know you have lost your Sushi. We lost our 14 year old Toby two weeks ago. We will always remember our wonderful pets. Your card is precious. You should frame it! I am so sorry for your loss!

Jessica's stamped cat and your actual photo of your card made great subjects for both of these cleverly designed cards.

So sorry for your loss, Pauline. She is beautiful and pets are so wonderful. I have to borrow them right now (my daughter lives behind me and lets me borrow hers when I need a fix), but the minute I retire, I am getting one!
This card is super lovely with the real picture, those fun brads, and the perfect (purr-fect) paper.
Hugz - extra ones for your loss.

Pauline, sending e-hugs to you on our loss. The loss of a beloved pet and companion is difficult. But you created a beautiful memorial for Sushi that will keep her near to you always. Love that she was monitoring your email. And I love the dp you used on this card. I bet that describes her perfectly. Touching and beautiful card.
