I always like to have something with corn on the menu for Thanksgiving, seems like the most appropriate food. I won't have acorns though, just as decoration.
I'm finding that I do best with watercolor when I don't obsess too much, just 'git 'er done.' This probably could use more finesse, especially that top acorn, but that's more of a sketching issue than anything. I kind of did my own thing, as I get confused about all the color mixing and choices sometimes. I only used Karin Markers, scribbling them on a slick surface and adding water. I'm enjoying using them, have had them for way too long to not use them. This is also for today's excellent sketch. You can see that I'm obsessed with Nuvo Stone Drops.

I love your acorns and pretty card. Good work on both challenges.

I love the warm yellow/orange/brown against that bright blue background. I love to look through the fall leaves into a clear sky like this. We have a mature oak on our lawn but it seems to lack acorns (or maybe the squirrels get them all?) Beautiful card!

I think that is true always, I love the bright blue sky you gave the tumbling acorns here and I heart nuvo drops too. ( I hardly remember to use them, and I will have to keep a look out for "stone" ones )

The acorns look beautiful! Love the colors/blending. I feel that the background color choice was brilliant because it really makes makes the acorns pop.
