Todayâs Tea Party is for Leeâs friend, Julie, who just lost her infant son. Pat is our hostess and has challenged us to use a pastel blue on our cards. I struggled with an idea, but was pretty sure a bird would be good. I flipped through my stamps and found this cute owl. I masked the moon and sponged the blue sky, splattered water and white acrylic paint. After I unmasked the moon, I stenciled the craters with my Tim Holtz Grunge stencil and sponged around the edges to give it a rounder look. Kept the card CAS by just popping up the owl and a small sentiment.

What a sweet little owl! Love the splattering on your sky!

That sky and moon are fabulous, Jen, and the bird is super sweet. I struggled on coming up with one for this too. You did a fab job. Hugz
