The colours from our hostess today are Merry Merlot, Polished Pink, Garden Green (all subbed) for dessert you can add another colour - oops, I may have included 2. I spent happy hours looking at all my papers and cardstock and found some 'near' colours I think. I die cut the birthday panel adding my MM behind and secured to the card front. Found a pretty paper with hints of the CC colours, and added a panel, with narrow MM edges. I die cut the flower in the pretty paper, but it needed to be defined by some sponging. I sponged with Baja Breeze first, followed by Rose Red and it looks a bit Merlotee I think - something to remember for another time. Die cut leaves and flourishes and finally added SU enamel dots.

Gorgeous! Love the flower. So pretty how you created it with the same paper and sponged the edges of each petal. Your card is so pretty and feminine. Wonderful inspiration!

So pretty, Sandie! I love, love, love how you created a beautiful flower (complete with edged petals) out of the same DS paper as the panel across the base of your card! So elegant!

Love your card. Seeing it this morning,I took inspiration and did mine. Like the roses with these colors, and your added sponging makes your main image a showstopper. TFS

What a great way to create your multi-layered flower by using a dainty piece of dp and then coming back with sponging the edges! Beautiful birthday card~

Lovely card, Sandie. The small "old-fashioned" rose DP accents your beautifully crafted and colored dimentional rose. Wonderful font of the die cut sentiment.
