This panel is for Jeans MMJ October challenge. Check out the challenge and come and get messy.
It is also for this weeks Mix challenge and to use cardboard. I love using cardboard in my MM and especially when I tear a layer off and add gesso.
I have been playing with our DGD today getting very messy and inky. We made three BGs using various paints and mediums. This was one of the substrates using cardboard and gesso.
I was not sure where I was going to go with this until I remembered the challenges and went from there using leaves I had collected outside for an online class I had taken.
The following prompts were used:
Image of an architectural building
Tissue paper (it is on there) plus paper I saved from a bouquet of flowers I had delivered recently. The twine was also from the bouquet.
Colour grey (silver paint and also grey ink used)
Drips - lots of those
Natural element - leaves
Household items used to make marks. I used a loo roll and a skewer. Bubble wrap was also used on the leaves but it did not stamp well
It has a lot of layers and to some would be considered busy but I love it and had such fun creating it.
TFL. Happy day

Very cool creation Jayne! I love how you used your cardboard and incorporated so many different themes in this. The angel is awesome..kind of like she's watching over everything. Sounds like you and your DGD had a blast doing this!

Wow. So much to look at and super well done. Love the leaves and the girl. Wonderful and makes me think of a book we could write. LOL. So glad to see you creating with a poppet and posting again. Hugz

I love this, Jayne: The leaf wings are so pretty on your winged woman and I love your Tudor revival house. There are a lot of them in the forest where I live. Lots of yummy texture and colors. Lots of withered leaves around our feet here at the moment. It’s a beautiful fall.
