Ladybugs mean good luck or fortune and I decided that our tea party recipient, Cassie, needed some. Thanks, Pam, for bringing Cassie to our attention. I was traveling this week, unexpectedly, and I only brought Zentangle and watercolor supplies. I really need to pack a tote bag with some basic stamping stuff, just to have at the ready. I started this on Tuesday for Cassie, finally finished it after seeing this decor from the IC today: https://www.partycity.com/fancy-lady...ct-554030.html
I Zentangled a floral and organic looking card, staying with warm colors because Cassie likes red, black and white. One of the inspiration pictures had lady bugs on it so I tangled three of them. I know that this could also be included for a sketch challenge a while ago but I don't know which one. I know this looks like it took forever but all in all, probably about an hour. It was really enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks for the challenges!

This is fabulous Jean. It does look like it would have taken "forever". Your drawing and Zentangle skills are superb as is everything on this card. I love the addition of the ladybugs and I had forgotten they symbolized "luck". There are several cards in this Gallery featuring them and I was beginning to fall in love with them again. Your card sealed the deal -- I officially LOVE ladybugs!
So, NCIS is one of my long time fav shows. Everyone on that show has a "GO" bag ready for a moments notice to travel. Sounds like you need a Craft Go Bag. Hope you're enjoying your travels.

I hope you mentioned to Cassie that this is hand-drawn and mention the art of Zentangling to her. She'll be amazed at this wonderful design you created just for her!

Wow, this card is fantastic! Love the background, and the bits of color you've added to your fabulous Zentangle!
