Today's Ways to Use it Challenge is about using buttons. Turns out I have a ton of real buttons stashed away, but I went with a big chipboard button, because when's the last time I used chipboard? I wanted to go bright and happy with the colors to reflect the happy thoughts idea of the sentiment. I ran each of the smaller solid pieces of card stock through different embossing folders to add some texture. I intentionally put the sentiment at a slight angle on top of a similar-sized piece of blue cardstock at a different angle. The button is tied with some baker's twine.

Fabulous use of that chipboard button. I think I finally used up the last of my chipboard about a year ago. I put that all in my tote and hopefully I did not forget any. It is great going through my stash using stuff up. I will need to refill my tote for next year for more items to use up.

I'm with you. When was the last time I used chipboard? Years? Fun button, great color.

Chipboard buttons are great, I think. I always liked the ones I had. The cross-stitch texture goes especially well with the button, I like the butterfly pattern too.
