Here is my card for Teapot Tuesday. The recipient of today's cards loves red, black and white and is described as a force of nature. I think tulips are a force of nature. Surviving the bitter cold and breaking through frosty ground, they bring early colour to my garden, often still surrounded by snow. The vase was stamped on a lightly striped vellum. Everything else was stamped repeatedly, paper pieced and layered. Enjoy!

I agree with Polly that you picked a wonderful metaphor for a force of nature. I love the variety and patterns you used for the tulips as well as that great bg piece. Of course, the dotted flowers are my favs. LOL. Beautiful card and sure to delight.

Fabulous paper piecing. Love the tulips in the different patterns. Wonderful card for Cassie. I like how you described tulips as a force of nature. One of my favorite flowers, too. Great card!

I AM enjoying this card. Love your idea to do the vase in vellum. The checked background and plaid bow are charming and your patterned tulips are delightful and unexpected. Tulips through the snow, what a wonderful thought!!
