This is my choice to CASE from Charmaine's gallery: TLC399 Christmas Cuddlers by tweedcurtain at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my thought process:
Charmaine has a super excellent, marvelous gallery. I favorited several. I love to CASE an artist like Charmaine because she has such wonderful variety of styles and themes and techniques, just like I like to do.
I needed to do a card for a swap I'm in that featured something starting with the letter C. I had already decided to do the word 'color' because I love these wood mounted stamps of mine that are all about color (there is another stamp on the inside about 'a whirlwind of colors.'). I didn't really have a plan but hoped I'd find something in her gallery that could spark it. I found her card and a gel print that I'd been wanting to use, not snowflakes but swirls of blues, using a stencil and some medium. Yay, perfect! Because the stamp on the left is large, I decided to do a slimline but left part of it white, like she did. I restamped the right hand stamp several times in different colors and cut out the word 'color' to emphasize my theme. I did a few dots in gel pens and then filled in a bit with some swirls with the same pens

Serendipity is serendipitous at times, and your wonderful card is a fitting tribute to the inspiration. I have now them saved for upcoming projects - so thanks to both of you!

Well you used the "C" word (color) both figuratively and visually so beautifully. Love your gel print and how well it works to support your message. You know I love encouraging sentiments and I think these are inspirational. Your swap partner will be delighted to receive this gem.

Such a fun case/card, Jean. Love the focus on colors and magical dreams (I had a fun one last night - I was super young and got to play with all kinds of free and very cool make up - lol). Love the direction you went in here. Hugz

Jean, thank you for the lovely things you said about my gallery. I really feel we are kindred spirits! I know I don't have a single "style" - I am definitely technique-driven - haven't met one I didn't like yet! Your colorful card is terrific - that gel print was a great starting point and I agree - color is refreshing!
