This is a birthday card for my son and I normally always put a birthday sentiment of some type on the front of my cards, but I just couldnât put one on this. I didnât want to take away from that leaf.
To make this I sprayed Distress mica stains onto a craft mat and dragged shipping tags through the stains, drying between layers, then splattered black acrylic paint on top. I blended ink onto a mustard card base and layered with a black panel to which I added the black burlap die cut. I die cut the leaf shape from the stained shipping tags and popped it up with dimensionals over the black burlap die cut.
I hope he likes it!

OF COURSE he will like it, it's stunning!! and soooooo masculine and cool. what a gem of a card this is! love your style : ) by the way, the q you ask on what the paper was at the bottom of my Harvest dies card, is homemade tea stained, tracing paper. i am not sure if one can tea stain vellum, but since you mentioned it... i will try that someday soon. oh my, I am so brain fart sometimes... it's COFFEE STAINED tracing paper, not tea. when I looked again, i could see where i dropped a few grains of instant coffee and it makes actual deep color circles where it lands. T
