I thought I'd give something similar a try, so I started with a piece of white cardstock and cut & scored it to make a 9" x 4" slimline card. Then tear a panel of watercolor paper into a rectangle to fit on the card front. Using Tombow markers, roughly draw a gray rectangle on the watercolor panel and use the water painter to spread the color around. Keep adding gray marker and moving around the color; add some yellow-orange marker and spread around the color with the water painter. Let dry and then splatter with watered-down black & gray inks. Set aside.
Stamp bottle image in SU Crumb Cake and StazOn Stone Gray on white scrap; die cut. Set aside. Die cut 3 ***** willow stalks (6 pieces) from white scrap. Use Distress Inks, Tombow markers, and colored pencils to color the stalks, leaves, and to add shading. For the ***** willow blooms, add gray shading with colored pencils and then add white flocking (adhered with liquid glue). Glue the 3 ***** willow stalks together (1 stalk each goes with 1 set of matching blooms).
Adhere torn watercolor panel to the front of the 9" x 4" white card base. Adhere bottle using dimensional foam tape. Glue 3 ***** willow stalks coming out of the bottle. Stamp sentiment in black ink on the card front. Next time I would probably add additional ***** willow stalks to the bottle, but I think it turned out pretty good for my first attempt. TFL!
