I used a light box and stylus to dry emboss an old brass stencil onto cloudy vellum. I added a bit of Versamark on the web, added glitter here and there and then heat embossed. The glitter doesn't show up in the picture but looks great IRL. The sentiment was die cut from orange and black c.s. and layered. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the treat bag. The spider was die cut and stamped. I added a clear red expoxy drop to his abdomen. The spider and treat bag were popped up with foam tape.
Thanks so much for looking!

That's a lot of embossing when you do it the old-fashioned way. I really like the look of the embossed vellum, and there's no way I'm going for those treats in the middle of a giant spider web.

I too think the embossed vellum looks terrific! I just found my light box while looking for something else today. Great inspiration to get my brass stencils out and emboss something. Your spider going for the treats is lovely!

What a fabulous Halloween web and card. I will let the spider have all the treats. Ha
