This is my card for CC917. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose bermuda bay, highland heather and parakeet party for her color trio. Dessert option this week is to use an embellishment.
For my card I used one of the CottageCutz Christmas dies and turned it into a birthday card. My next door neighbor celebrates next week, October 20. She is an avid baker so this card is perfect for her.
I stenciled a brick wall background with peacock feathers distress ink - it's a close match to bermuda bay.
I cut the baking mice in the challenge colors and some allowed neutrals. I used some older SU dsp for the wood floor. The Happy Birthday sentiment is also a die from CottageCutz.
I couldn't fit any embellies on this card. It was already a bit busy.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Jeanne has chosen some great colors for your card designs.

This is adorable! A perfect birthday card for someone who loves to bake. I like the soft stenciled brick background. The challenge colors were terrific for these dies. Love this sweet scene. So cute.
