Congratulations to Renata! You have a gorgeous gallery and I found so many inspiring cards. Iâm back dogsitting at someone elseâs house so once again I only have my little traveling kit with me, so I could not start playing with paints and all as you inspired me to want to do!
And realized I had some paper that was somewhat similar to it in the folder of paper scraps I have with me. I also had a senior who has sunflowers listed in her likes who needs a birthday card so that came together perfectly! I cut 4 strips of the pattern paper and attached to a card front. I stamped the sentiment in sepia ink on a pale yellow scrap and backed with an orange scrap and attached to the card front with foam tape, then added three sunflower stickers.
This also is submitted for the CAS challenge of using fall colors.
Enjoy your week Renata!

Terrific case. You did great for only having a traveling kit of supplies with you. The paper is fabulous and goes nicely with the sunflowers. The Senior will love her card. We selected the same inspiration with different results. I love that about paper crafting! Love your card.

This is great, and who wouldn't love colourful sunny sunflowers?! Sometimes the simplest designs and layouts are just the best, and you've used up some very nice paper scraps, too. I think that's called win/win! Thanks!
This is such a great case. I love your designer paper strips and it highlights the sunflowers and sentiment perfectly. Gorgeous card for the senior birthday!

What a lovely sunflower card you've created for the senior .... your patterned paper strips perfectly compliment your sunflowers!
