Today's featured stamper is Renata. Congratulations, Renata, you have a beautiful gallery. This lovely card caught my eye today: DTGD22MaryR917 - Slimline Christmas card by Renata Joyner at Splitcoaststampers I really loved the strippy ornaments so decided to give it a go. I kept the ornaments but used different paper and also changed the size to an A2 card.
I don't have any jac paper so glued each strip onto some copy paper individually. Then I die cut my 6 balloons which I turned into ornaments. I decided to die cut my bows out of different colors of foil paper just for fun. The ornament on the right is popped up with foam. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out along with a mat layer. Final touches were to add sequins in several colors and use a gel pen for the ornament strings. These were fun to make.
Congratulations, Renata, enjoy your week!
Thanks for the challenge, Nancy, and thanks for looking!

Actually, amazingly enough, what you've done here is how I normally do these ornaments, size, placement, hand drawn 'string', so I really resonate with these cards! The big slimline was a hasty DTGD panic entry, lol. You've outdone that by far! Thanks!

Beautiful case. Love how you created it. A great way to use scraps and make such fun & pretty ornaments. Love the foil bows. Good for you making two cards while you were at it. Well done!

These are gorgeous with those beautiful patterns and shiny bows. And the perfect finishing touches with the sequins. I love the idea of glueing the strips to photocopy paper to help the bulk and cutting. And using a balloon die for an ornament -- brilliant idea! This card has inspired me in so many ways. TFS Fav'd.
