I have always said I can't draw; that's why I stamp! But this week, thanks to inspiration and encouragement from Linda aka Holstein, I have tried, for the very first time, creating a watercolor painting with no stamping! It's far from perfect, but I am totally amazed at my results. Thank you team, for the weekly challenges, which I will be following more closely from now on, and thank you Linda!

I am so excited that you gave the wreath a try! You painted a beautiful wreath! I really like how your woody branches twist around the wreath. Really beautiful! I always said the same thing, I can't draw, that's why I stamp! LOL Well, I am learning to draw a little and I LOVE watercolor. We look forward to seeing your watercolor cards in the future!

Barbara, you should have been painting with us since we started. This is gorgeous and I love your vine and the leaves with such pretty colors. I always said the same thing about not being able to draw but guess I am learning as we go and it's fun. So happy to see you here with us.

that is the best-est feeling isn't it ? I know exactly what you mean my stamps number in the pushing 5 digits range lol. and just think the more you play with this the easier it gets in the back of your mind to think I can just paint that... this turned out so cool and well done for a first painting Barbara.

Barbara, you did a wonderful job! The color variation on your leaves looks fantastic. Love the splatters too. I can't believe this is your first no-stamp watercolor painting. Well done!

Beautiful wreath with a nice variation of colors and a very natural intertwining of twigs. I, too, thought I had no artistic talent but these beginner videos really do take us step by step and I hope you will continue this journey with us. What I have found is some of these techniques work really well for me - others not so much BUT I always learn something. It took me about a year to find my own style . . . . so take your time and explore this medium.
