This is for Sunday's featured stamper, Crystal, and also for today's Alphabet Challenge, S is for sequins.
Congratulations, Crystal, you have a beautiful gallery that I enjoyed browsing. I took inspiration from this lovely card: Happiness CT0522 by crystalkbk at Splitcoaststampers So cute! I used a similar layout and the frame has some purple as well but I changed my card into a Christmas card.
I put five different colors of distress ink directly onto my watercolor paper and sprayed them with water to get them moving. I then spritzed them with my Perfect Pearl shimmer spray (homemade) and worked with the panel until I liked how it looked.
I die cut the frame using two different sizes of rectangle framelits taped together. I then die cut multiple snowflakes to arrange around the frame. All of the snowflakes are attached under the frame except the on at the top right which I allowed to extend past the frame and sequins are attached at their centers. Some of the snowflake offcuts are attached to the inside edge of the card as well. I silver heat embossed the sentiment directly on the card base.
For my snowman, I stamped him on white cs and colored him with Copics (minimal coloring). I then fussy cut him out and added glue around his layers of snow, on his hat brim, and the the top of his hat, and sprinkled iridescent glitter on him. He is popped up with foam tape.
Congratulations Crystal, enjoy your week. Thank you for the challenges and thanks for looking!

This is fabulous. I knew immediately which card you chose to CASE and I LOVE how you changed the flowers and gnome to this sparkling beauty. The watercolor panel you created is gorgeous and the colors are perfect for this wonderful snowflake frame. Awesome card.

I love your wonderful backdrop for your snowman! I would have guessed it was a fancy die if I did not read you added all of the snowflakes to that frame. Awesome job!!!

This is gorgeous! Beautifully inspired case. Love how you changed to snowflakes. The snowman is so cute. I imagine this is so sparkly IRL. Nicely done, Catherine!
