This took me a couple of days to complete the WCW for this week...painting hair. In going through my stamps, I found several that I could have used for this challenge but I ended up doing pretty much what the artist used for reference. He was very good, very funny but it was hard!!!!!!! When I finished the hoodie, I thought she looked like a Green Bay Packer defensive tackle...but then I decided she was wearing a heavy sweater or blanket. Then to disguise how poorly I painted the hoodie, I decided to Zentangle and shade to make it look like a blanket. I had no luck with the wet brush getting some lighter strands so I decided to go nuts and add all sorts of colors to her hair. She is experimenting with highlights.
Finally, this is for today's IC: https://www.whatonearthcatalog.com/CBU212

very cool I thought the detailing on the jacket was really cool and then I read the words ha ha and thought you are so smart. I think the lifting paint goes a little better if you are doing it while its still wet and some paints have more pigment to them than others so, some colors stain the papers. This turned out really neat Jean

I like your zentangle for the sweater and that is very cool hair. A defensive tackle.....you are funny.

Like the movement of your hair and various colors. The lifting of the paint seemed to require a glazing brush and the right amount of water. Like Stacy mentioned certain colors lift better. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I love it! My eyes went straight to the gorgeous blanket! I love the zentangle! The hair looks amazing! I love that you added lots of color to her hair.
