Today's Teaparty recipient, Hildie, loves classic cars and butterflies. I stamped the car and colored it blue in honor of the 1940 Ford Convertible my family owned until the 1970's. I used silver gel pen for accents. I was trying to figure out how to work the butterflies in, and thought it would be fun to imagine retrofitting a classic car to emit butterflies in place of noxious gases, so I fussy cut some out of DSP.
Added vellum clouds with a tiny bit of glue on the lower edges. Hope this flight of fancy brings a smile to Hildie's face!

Very fun idea having the car emitting butterflies - and it's a great look with the city skyline. The look of the car reminds me somewhat of the one my Dad built when he was in college.

Awesome car; awesome coloring; awesome memory; but most awesome is a car that emits butterflies. Now wouldn't that be the best thing ever. Love your creative and imaginative design so beautifully expressed here. I'm sure Hildie will more than smile. Fabulous card.
