I loved Dees strawberries, beautiful coloring and the gingham plaid. Although summer is ending, we still have hot weather here and I saw strawberries in the store the other day, so I was inspired for an end of summer card.
For my card, I kept the strawberries with a different stamped set. My strawberries are stamped & punched out instead of colored in. My leaves are colored with blends markers. I used similar colors and layout. I kept the gingham plaid with a horizontal strip instead of vertical. I did not use the dots to keep it flat for mailing. Embellished with Wink of Stella on the flower centers.
Since the berries and caps needed to be stamped and punched, I took the time to make multiples. So I was able to make two cards and more to come. On these two, I switched the green and red papers.
Thank you Dee for sharing your berry wonderful cards with us and for inspiring mine today!

What fun to make two in opposite colors (I like the RED best!).

Diane, this pair of cards are fabulous. I love seeing the same layout but with the different colors and patterns. It always fascinates me how such a small change can make such a difference. Usually, I would automatically say I prefer the green card as green is a fav color; but, in this case, I really can't choose. I love them both. Beautiful coloring. Great card.

Diane, these are a great case of Carol's card. The colors pop right off the screen even in thumbnail size. I love your use of the coordinating papers on both of the cards. Your coloring on the berries and leaves is beautiful!
