Congrats to Carol Dee for being chosen as this week's featured stamper!! I went all the way to 2005 (I think I also started back in 2005 or close to it!) and found this beauty Woven Moose by Carol Dee at Splitcoaststampers. I haven't tried this paper weaving in a very long time but I did enjoy it once I got my card all done. HA I first cut up strips of white cardstock, then started weaving them in and out. I then rubbed my Catherine Pooler sand castle ink pad all over it before I stamped the image on top in black ink. I then stamped the back sheet of that in Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake and put that on top of brown cardstock. Added sentiment strip and all done! I will be doing this technique from now on. I like the looks of it!!

Very cool paper weaving and the all white/brown color scheme adds to the fun. This is a wonderful case, Sherri! Hugz

That woven paper technique really adds some fun and charm to a card. Inking over the white looks great as does that beautiful pinecone panel you created. Love it as the backdrop for those fun characters having a grand old time at the fire pit. Adorable card.
Sherri, this is a great case of Carol's card. I love the woven paper technique. I have never tried it. I love the image and the beautiful background you created.
