Hello! This week's Watercolor Wednesday is a pumpkin patch tutorial! Thanks, Linda for the fun challenge!
I decided to go with just one close-up pumpkin, I also added a fall sky.
This was my 2nd attempt. This might not have everything right but you would never guess the same person painted both pieces. LOL
I left white lines on my pumpkin as our tutorial suggested but I couldn't get comfortable with them. I lightly painted over the white space and then added darker shadows. I also added a hint of yellow-orange onto the ground where the pumpkin is sitting as last week's tutorial instructed.

Really love your take on this challenge. The added touch of the sky and your earth tones give it a realistic look. I like how you added some techniques from last week. Fav'd TFS

really beautiful and that pumpkin is shaded / colored perfectly! wow, really captured a fall 'mood' in this shading. One lonely pumpkin, left in the patch. : ) TFS

great work as always, Angie. i didn't really care for the white lines on the gourds either. i like yours better than the artist. maybe you should do a youtube.
