For today's Technique Lovers Challenge - in Memory of Dee Gruenig who made vibrant bold designs. We are to sponge bright colors for our backgrounds.
I sponged over a white card panel with Distress inks Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn and Mustard Seed.
I found a whole drawer of LaBlanch stamps (does anyone remember/have these??) and stamped this girl in the garden over the colors with Versafine Clair Nocturne (you need juicy inks on these stamps - they are white rubber on a thick foam block and I haven't used them in many years because I never could get a good print with the inks I was using!)
I added the sentiment from Stampotique above the image and added white dots to hat and flowers with a white POSCA pen.
To make the colors seem a little less 'flat', I splattered water over the panel.
