Queen Elizabeth wore bright colours so she could be seen in a crowd - and I particularly loved her cerise outfits because it's my favourite colour! This card is to pay homage to her today. With the Storybook cartridge I cut the crown at 3.5'' in gold adding an accent blackout in cerise glitter card. With the Schoolbook cartridge I cut the letters at 1.75'' adding a narrow shadow. I cut 2 capital I's at .75''. Added a few cerise gems for sparkle.

Ahh, I so love this. I had a thought to make something similar but the heat is killing me right now. Thank you for putting the thoughts of so many of us in your card.

Swallowing a lump in my throat. This is such an exquisite tribute to an exquisite lady. I agree with CAKath "thank you for putting our thoughts in your card".

Sandie I saw this card in the gallery yesterday and did not have a chance to leave a comment. I just had to come back and comment on this. This is a beautiful card dedicated to the new king and the outgoing amazing queen. I love this so much.
