I am low on anniversary cards and decided today's sketch and yesterday's color challenges would work well for this.
I stamped my background panel with a text background stamp and embossed it with White Satin embossing powder. Strangely, it looks a little dirty in the photo!
For the focal panel, I colored the stamps with the Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, and Garden Green markers and then stamped them down. I love this old stamp set. For the Crushed Curry flowers, I didn't color the stem but doodled it in to make my three flower bouquet. A little sponging on the edge with Crushed Curry, stamped the sentiment, and then popped this panel up with foam tape.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Catherine, I'm thrilled this is your second design (and this one could be classified as fall as well). I love the sketch this week and am going to have to give it a try! You've done a marvelous job of combining the challenges, whoever receives this beauty is going to love it! TFS

Gorgeous!!! Such a beautiful card!

I like how the ink for the flowers has subtle variations due to the marker and spritz technique you used. Very clever. The text background looks great, too.
