For our WT this week we are channeling our favorite artist....a famous artist or our fav SCS artist. Of course it was hard to narrow it down to just one. I chose 5 of my fav SCS artists off the top of my head and then randomly picked one. I ended up with Karen Dunbrook. I love her bright backgrounds, stenciled or gel print. And she usually has a wonderful sentiment or quote. I started using my gel plate and DO inks and a leaf from my yard. I just couldn't get a good print so I switched to acrylic paint. I ended up with some good prints but I chose this one that had a minimal amount of paint (I think it dried up)...anyway I really liked the result I got. It's subtle but interesting. Come join us this week!

holy cow....such an honor, thanks so much Polly...love your card. I have a print just like that one that I have never used. You reminded me it's sitting in my stash.

Beautifully capturing Karen's wonderful blue cards, but putting your stamp on it too! Gorgeous card, Polly!

Polly I have always been a huge fan of Karen's card and style. She creates amazing cards and as soon as I saw your card without reading the description I immediately thought of Karen. This turned out amazing.

You honored Karen's style beautifully. Love the leaf print. It is interesting. Nicely matted in the black. Love, love the sentiment. The message and the pretty font with double swirls. Fabulous card and terrific challenge!
