This is for the Color Challenge hosted by LeAnn. Her colors are Crushed Curry, Garden Green and Poppy Parade. Dessert option is Fall. What wonderful colors to get us in the mood for autumn colors.
I followed the instructions using the challenge colors to create my background. However, I did not stamp outline leaves on top this time, as I thought it was an interesting and colorful background for my card. I sprayed a shimmer spray all over and then layered the panel on Garden Green and then on a Crushed Curry card base.
The leaf embellishment was in my stash. Previously, I had made it by sponging a leaf through a stencil and with the stencil still in place, spread glitter gel over it. After it completely dried, I cut it out. It was perfect for the challenge colors & theme.
The sentiment was stamped with all three colors. I put the stamp upside down on my desk, blocked off the beginning and end of the stamp with post it notes. Inked the stamp in Crushed Curry, pulled off the papers, carefully inked the end on the edge of Garden Green pad, and inked the beginning on the edge of a Poppy Parade pad. Huffed on it and made the impression. Die-cut into a banner and die-cut the banner frame.
I had so much fun with these bright & beautiful colors. I hope you do, too! TFL

What a beautiful, dreamy autumn card, Diane, and I love the ombré color of the greeting. So clever of you to have created it that way. The watercolor technique is lovely!

That water color technique is perfect for your beautiful autumn leaves, giving them such a soft, dreamy look. You are the second person in the gallery today to use that "autunm" stamp from the old Season by Season stamp set; I have always loved that set with it's pretty font. Love the way you accomplished the multi-colored stamping. Remember those old Kaleidacolor pads we used to have?!

Subtle splashes of leaves, kind of like on a wet rainy day when it's difficult to make things out. But then your golden beauty makes everything seem just Perfect, Diane!
