I made the window using Arch Die/Sizzix for the back and Cathedral Die/The Greetery for the front of the window.
I embossed them both using Hammered Metal embossing powder.
Instead of a woman looking out - I embossed a piece of watercolor paper with TH Skulls 3D embossing folder that I sponged over with Old Paper Distress so the skulls were more visible.
I layered the front of the window over the skulls panel with foam strips, adhered that to the back of the window and then to the DP which is on a Vintage Cream card base.
I die cut 3 bats and adhered them to the window as well as die cut wild flowers and the Label Sticker.

Wow! You really captured your inspiration from the mansion on the hill. Such creative work on this card. I love the hammered metal embossing powder. Need some and will have to check it out.

What a great idea to create the proper texture for your arched widow by using your Hammered Metal embossing powder!

Yikes, there's some seriously scary stuff going on behind that window. I love it! I would send this card to my daughter who loves everything spooky. Fabulous Halloween card, Julia.
