On the top card I used the black lining of the wedding invitation envelope as the base layer. I topped this with the black on white design of the envelope flap. I added the sentiment to a diecut stamp.
On the bottom card I used the front of the wedding invitation envelope which had the flourish design on one corner. I added a ribbon with butterflies. That small diecut butterfly was added to cover an ink smudge.

So effective with the shape of the flap incorporated as part of the design. Any wedding invites I've had recently have all been very soft floral designs, I like the classic elegance of this.
