Polly's TPT challenge called for wrinkle free distress...I used the faux wood technique to create a distressed frame. I started with kraft cardstock and swiped various shades of brown ink in long drags to mimic wood grain. Then I used a darker brown along the edges and finally swiped a little white to make it look more distressed. I cut the pieces and mitered the corners to make the frame and wanted to keep the wood the focal point so I kept it simple with the large hugs die and a simple stamped sentiment.

I love your design with the faux wood frame! The dp inside is so sweet and those big HUGS are just that. How darling…this would cheer anyone who sees it.
