Let me begin by saying, Diane Antone's tutorial was both informative and entertaining! Love her easy breezy philosophy on painting.
Painting the pinecone was a little challenging for me. I wish I'd left more open space. I do really like how the branch turned out. I hope I didn't cheat by using a Tombow Brush Marker to create the pine needles! Instead of using white wash to add snow, I added Stickles instead. There's nothing like a sparkly pinecone.
THANK YOU so much for another fun challenge.
Enjoy!

Very attractive painting of your pinecone. Great shape, earthy colors, and your branch and needles are fantastic. Another super painting for the gallery. Thanks for playing.

It's all super painting from the tutorial. Your branch looks so real and I love the cone and needles.

Well done on your painting! The first thing I noticed was the tiny red heart right in the middle of your pinecone - not sure if it was a happy accident or intended but I think it's cute.

I think those needles had to be done in whatever way you could find - very few of us have a bamboo pen. You have done a great job with the cone and the lovely branch
