Todayâs Tea Party is for Shellyâs SIL, Diane, who has been battling cancer. Polly is our hostess and she has challenged us to make Wrinkle Free Distress or sponged backgrounds. I decided to make my Wrinkle Free Distress background on my stamped pansies and fussy cut them. Then I watercolored the leaves with green DOX ink. I hope these happy looking flowers brighten Dianeâs day.

Wow, the WFD worked beautifully on those pansies. I would have thought you colored them in as the colors fit so well with the petals. Great job. This pansy stamp is really lovely and you turned it into one sweet card.

Pansies, a favourite flower, I used to grow them when I was little. Great idea to create a background that would suit them so well leaving you just the leaves to colour. Smart thinking!
