Jean gave us a mixed media challenge in June. I tried to use denim, but I just couldn't figure how to work it in with the green colors. So, I ended up with this rather odd design using the following prompts: technique-embossing folder; at least 2 shades of green, royalty (note the crown on the raven), a quote. I guess I could look for a vegetable to feed the bird and we can pretend his open mouth is singing a song. But denim? Not this time.

Teri you only had to choose a minimum of 2 items for the challenge and you nailed it. Awesome BG and yes something in the Raven’s mouth such as a veggie…or maybe an arm or leg would be fun lol. I love the raven and his crown and the quote is spot on. Happy day

By the way, Teri, there is a good book about the ravens of the Tower of London. It was written by the current raven master. I don't remember the title. Very quick, interesting read.
