This is my second card using this sketch. The first one turned out to be a school related design, which was not intentional, but once it was completed, I realized it was perfect to send to my nephews heading back to school this week. So I had to make a second school card so both nephews (who are brothers) could each have their own card - gotta keep it fair and even amongst them!
This card is quite similar to my first, just using a different color scheme and different focal image, but I kept yellow as the accent color for both cards.
I used kraft against black this time, first cutting the black piece with a fancy scalloped edge and then layering the kraft on top. I used patterned paper again that looks like graph paper for the strips.
I stamped, colored, fussy cut the image and added to the circle, colored gray with an alcohol marker. I added yellow enamel dots from my stash (don't know the brand) to carry through the color of the pencil.
